Diacetone Acrylamide (DAAM) in white crystalline solid, is an acrylic type monomer, used as a crosslinking monomer to make functional copolymers. It can be copolymerized with vinyl acetate monomer, MMA, acrylic esters, acrylamide, and styrene, etc. Widely used in the production of coatings, laminates sealers, adhesives, lubricating oils, curing agent for epoxy resins, hydroscpicity and vapor permeability to copolymer films, softy contact lenses, in air sprays and photosensitized resins.
